He also has extended engineering experience with industry leaders like Toyota, Nissan, GM, Ford, Chrysler, Mitsubishi, and Navistar. Tailgate Defender was born at this extraordinary intersection.

Introducing the Tailgate Defender
Designed in Tim's custom-built workshop, the Tailgate Defender is a game-changer for truck owners. This ingenious device prevents debris from falling into the tailgate gap. It is a more practical way to load and unload large items by bridging the tailgate and the truck bed gap merging Tim's deep understanding of engineering with practical, everyday needs. Despite the challenges of launching during a pandemic, Tim secured the patent in 2020.
He debuted the product in November 2021 at the SEMA show.
